Not-so-weekly report of a Spanish speaking white guy

Well this week was a good one, I don't have much time to write much but I am not dead and our Christmas was great. We went to a members house and ate dinner and watched 17 miracles. Tranquilo. Other then that  the week was normal and this week is going to be just about the same, except I have a new comp. His name is E' Vidal. He is from Bolivia and is just as crazy as I am. Well I love you all and hope you have a good day.

Not-so-weekly report of a Guy with a Pen

I know I should be more exciting with my subjects, but when the week is just the same as the last with a couple of changes its hard to come up with something more. This week we walked until our shoes fell off. I did go to the Hospital this week. But not for me, I was accompanying an elder that has a problem with his leg and need to get an examination. It was fun to go there and not be the one dying. I also found a sister from Thatcher. It was cool. But yeah that is about it and I am running out of time. Love you all and hope you have a great week.

Not-so-weekly report of the local Snow man

This week was an interesting week. A muslam threw a rock at us for saying Hi, we did 2 different service projects each including cleaning out the back storage area and one finding a dead, petrified rat, and not to mention the countless spiders that always accompany these sorts of things. But other then the incredible heat it was a good week. We had little to no leccions this week which forced us to the streets to talk to the random passer by, or to the houses to ask for water. So in the end we made it by. WE are finding quite a few people to teach but the Most exciting one is Estefania who will be baptized the day after Christmas, best present ever. SO that's the report. Oh and I have been eating lots of Carrots. Love you all and hope you have a wonderful week.

Not-SO-Weekly report of ME!

SO I got on late, I don't have much time and my comp is pushing me out the door but I wanted to share an experience I had today MY comp and I were late tothe secion in the temple and we didn't want to make our "party" have to wait for us so we decided to stay out and just explore, and remember, anyways we found an hermana with her daughter that was preparing to go on the mission in Argentina, so we talked to them for a while. They were really cool. And we helped them take picture in front of the temple, the whole shabang. SO when my comp was taking the picture a lady asked me if she could go in with jeans. I said yeah and she went in and sat down, and what I now recognize as the spirit told me to go and talk to her. I ignored it and we went to buy some things and when we got back to the temple she was still there and I again received the revelation to talk to her, but all the other elders were there, so again I ignored it. In the end when we were about to leave I decided to go over and talk to her with E' Kelsh and so we went over and started to talk to her and she told us her whole story. She is membro and has made some bad decisions, she married a guy that is an ex communicated member that "would change" but it hasn't happened and she is getting drug down, and just different things, but the missionarys are helping her. The spirit was super strong, we said a prayer juntos and it was super cool. She goes home tomorrow and she said that she will go home mas tranquilo. It was cool, and I am glad that I was there and listened to the spirit. It was really a good week.

Not-So-Weekly report on the Toilet-paper crisis

Well to sum it all up we are all out of toilet-paper and money, so at this time anything goes, mostly paper towels, that is the report.
This week was a good week. Nothing happened but two of our investigators came to church this Sunday. It was super cool. I sat in the middle of them and explained the sacrament and all to them while it was going on, the things we do, the things we remember and all that good stuff. It was cool, This sector is awesome, but kinda big, we have to walk alot but hey such is life on the mish. The people here are so nice, I am still amazed that we are given water wherever we go. But not much else, I love you all and hope you have a great thanksgiving with lots of pie and stuff. Love you.

Not-So-Weekly Report of an Oak in a Lemon Tree

It was a good week, we have been working like crazy. we also moved houses, which was crazy in and of itself. I still can't believe that we all fit in the apartment. There are 6 of us and 2 of my companions don't have a bed. We are squished but all alive. I have learned how to be very squishy in the past 2 houses. And I have found some trick to living with others in such small spaces. Thanks mission. Other then that the week is pretty normal, as normal as it can get on the mission. The problem is that I left my planner in the house and I don't have a very good memory. There was a Baptism though. Not one of mine, but someone I taught before, so It was super cool to got to. But yeah, that was my week. At least I think. Love you all and hope you have the best week in the world.

Not so Weekly Report from a Man

A man whose face got slightly smashed in by a cake. But hey, a man is a man. So for my birthday my comps did a family home evening with some members and some recent converts, they thought that it was a suprize that they brought out a cake and started singing, but its not like they were very sneaky, but hey it was fun. E' White make Cinnamon twists, which are like Cinnamon rolls but twisted and with a different type of dough. It was good. The Hna also gave me a cake of a thousand leafs, it was really good. Also a tradition they have here is to smash the persons face into the cake, which hurt because the cake was hard so it was like pounding my face into the table, but hey cake is cake and this cake was amazing. Then the four missionaries and the recent converts had to squeeze into a car. It was the two RC in front and the 4 Missionaries  in back. I was on top, with my head and legs hanging out the window, I don't have pics or I would send them but it was awesome. We also shouted Hola to everyone we passed, missionary work in steroids. So that was fun.
On a sadder note, a very beloved man died in the mish, and we went to the funeral, the saddest thing of all is the hopelessness of the family, who aren't members, or aren't active. This Gospel is amazing, and I am so glad to be a part of it. There is so much hope and joy that is linked to this knowledge that we have there the grave has no stink. I Love that knowledge and I love you all and hope the best. Hope your week is wonderful.

Not-so-weekly report of A Servant of The Lord

Well, this week was a good one, But I am writing late and I don't have time to write as much. But I am working hard and falling and hitting my head on almost any branch that comes into reach. But I am still smiling. We taught seminary yesterday and got everyone to cry, at least almost everyone. We talked about the Joseph smith story, and also how that effects them in their lives. WE watched the Movie, which is always powerful, and them bore our testimonys. It was awesome. SO yeah, I love you all, sorry for the short email, I will not sleep as much next week, Have a good one.

Not- so-weekly Report of MR. Mate

It was a good week. We are still contacting alot, but also we are entering in the houses, and teaching in the street more, which is something that we weren't doing. The ZL (E' White and E' Udall) started asking us every night if we were doing leccions in the street, and truthfully we weren't really looking for the opportunities to do so. But we have started leaving with the attitude of teaching more then getting into the houses. Its nice to go in, but we have also had some awesome experiences with that. One night, we decided to contact in our last minutes before going into the house and so we headed in one direction and I felt a bit of fear, uncomfortable, I not sure what, about the direction we were going in. So we changed our course, and we found ourselves in front of a house. We yelled and a man came out. We started to talk to him and then the conversation turned to religion and we taught the entire 1 leccion to this man right on his front porch. and we walked home feeling pretty awesome. WE also taught a part of the first leccion to the polola of a menos activo, and we weren't even thinking that we were going to have a leccion. It was cool. She was asking questions and we just turned the conversation and taught. It was super cool. I have definitely learned to always be prepared to teach in all moments, and to look for the time to teach and the people prepared really are there in front of our faces. We just need the faith to find them. Not much else crazy has happened this week. I love you all and hope your week is amazing.

Not-So-Weekly report of Elder Scotch tape

I have found about a mission ways to use tape, decoration and cards and just everything.

Well this week was alot like the one that it followed, lots of contacts and falling citas. But not even the dark clouds could darken our spirits. We went out on that day that it was raining like crazy and did contacts, it was fun, people looked like we were crazy (which is partially true) and we just smiled right back, then again it might have been the fact that we were eating ice cream and walking in the rain without umbrellas. But hey we both love the rain, and when you talk to people it shouldn't matter the conditions. We found a menos activo familia, that are addicted to drugs and that want to change. But other than that everything is normal. I have been studying the Book of Mormon from the start and I have found a lot of really cool stuff. Like several reasons to pick good friends. Well I have to go. Love you all and hope you have a great week.

Not-so-weekly report of a Man on an Invisible Bench

So this week was pretty interesting. WE have done more contact then I have ever done in my entire life, and I love it. We went and did early morning contacts in the metro (subway) and it was awesome, we took the longest route and contacted everyone in site. I walked in one train and seeing that it was pretty much empty and all the seats where taken, I sat on the wall, and when the people sitting down looked at me I simply sayed invisible bench. From there I contacted the ones there were laughing. I talked to this one girl for a really long time, but before I could get the reference I had to get off. But I did give her a Plan of Salvation Leaflet. It was super cool, she works with dieing people. She is like the nurse that takes care of the people that are almost over the edge, but she doesn't believe in God, so hopefully she can be found. But yeah, that was about the coolest thing of the week, the rest is pretty tranquilo. Love you all and hope your life is awesome.

Not-so-weekly Report from Lemons to Oaks

Ok, so this week was awesome but I don't have much time.  Big things that happened in the mission, and in my life is that I moved. I went from one ward to the one right next to it. We were running from one house to another trying to say goodbye to everybody (and if you know me I don't run -.-) just to find out that I was going to be in the next ward, and we would see them all every week. So luckily I wasn't the only one that left so no one can say they did a big party just to have me go to the next ward. But hey the good thing is that I pretty much know everyone, or have seen most of them. The Bishops super cool, and my comp is fetching awesome. His name is E' Mendoza. But yeah, everyone and things are doing great, I'm not dead, so that's a good thing. love you all and hope your week is awesome.

Not-so-weekly Report of Mr. Pancake

Well, to sum up my ward we have like 5 people that work, 10 that don't do anything and are on the point of inactivation and 50 that are inactive( and thats just the ones we know of) But despite all of that, everythings great. We are working hard and getting results. There is a family that we are teaching and they are pretty much awesome I think I talked about them before, but they are heading toward the waters of baptism. We went with the Primary president and she made an invitation to them to read the LDM and write what they are feeling in a book and they accepted. They are also going to come to general Conference, its going to be awesome . Also another cool experience we had with a member is we went to an investigator we have and he was on the point of dieing (not being able to take the lessions be cause he smokes and doesn't think he can dejarlo. The member we took is Hna Amada who is a recent convert that stopped smoking, and she is on fire. She Contacts everyone in her block and most of them are drug dealers. So we took her to this old man and she gave him palo with love. It was amazing, her testimony is so strong, and she really helped him. There were a few things that dropped the leccions, we had a time that we went with he members to invite the less actives to church, but there was a lack of communications and we wasted more time then we needed to. SO that was a bummer, but the people came to church so it seemed to have worked. But thats about it. Love you all and hope you week isawesome.

Not-so-weekly report of no name

Well as you can imagine this week was interesting. Lots of food because of the Chilean Independence day, and lots of scared people, because of the Earthquake. But it was a good week all the same. It did have its low points though. One of which was that we ate breakfast with investigators, a ginormous lunch (which we didn't finish) and everyone around us giving us food. You may think that this is every missionary dream, but trust me when you are about to loose you lunch while trying to eat it its not a pleasant experience. But it is an experience that one can only have on the mission (at least I hope). But anyways we did have some cool storys this week. A couple weeks back we found what can only be called a golden family. Its a mom and her two daughters, the oldest daughters boyfriend. When we found them the boyfiend came out of the house, he looked like one of the most unlikely people to receive the gospel, and he let us in. We met him, and his girlfriend, then the Swegra showed up, and joined. Then Sunday they all came to church. Yesterday we taught them the restoration. We also taught a part of the Plan of salvation Because Pricila (the mother of everyone) has had a really hard life, her father and mother died when she was young, just tuff stuff, and so we testified of the Atonement  and the Resurrection. Then somehow we tied it all back to the Restoration and just made a spiritual Bomb and it was amazing. When we asked if they would be baptized the older daughter said yes altido, them came the other three. It was AMAZING! Then to top it all off we went to the Temple today, which is always a spiritual boost. Love you all and hope your week is awesome.

Not-so-weekly report of a fat man in a lemon tree

The week was good. WE had to stay in our house for a whole day because of Joven Combatiente, where everyone and their dog goes crazy for 24 hours. But nothing happened in our sector so its all good. It was good to have a break (a forced break but and one where we could do much of anything but a break none the less) to recharge the battery a little more. We did have some cool experiences doing contacts. We found this lady and we taught her right there on her door step. she was asking all sort of questions and everything, it was super cool. We also went to a old investigators house, we had contacted it before, but we thought "why not, could be fun" so we went up and someone else answered. A man that just looks as pissado and can be, and he lets us in and we teach him his wife, his niece and his mother in law. It was really cool, and when we were leaving he asked us if there was any doctrine study because he really likes our doctrine. But like always there is a couple of people that aren't to happy to see us. Yesterday someone asked us "¡Que te cree!" and when we tried to explain who we were he just tried to fight, so we left. But hey, when is that not going to happen.
Saturday we had a really cool activity for Chilean Independence day. There were games and food, and we were guilt tripped into playing along. But hey free food and good environment for the investigators. Today we tried to go to a rodeo but it wasn't going on that day, but it was still cool because it came with a fair I took a picture of an alpaca (careful they spit), so yeah that was fun.
Love you all and hope your week is awesome.

Not-So-Weekly Report of a Master Chef

Well, thats slightly a lie, but hey, I try my best ok. Other then the terribly made and over floured chicken strips that I tried to make this week was good. We actually had a lot of leccions, looks like all of our contacting has payed off. E' Leon is a machine, we do contacts like crazy. We did one contact that we just randomly did in the street and we went by one night and one of the three were there. It was awsome, we taught the Restoration and she accepted to read and pray. Just really cool things like that. Hope you all have a wonderful day, week, whatever, at least 5 minutes. Love you all.

Anyways, this week was interesting. We had combios(changes) but I didn't leave, I am still in Los Limoneros. But I have a new Comp. His name is E' Leon and he is super cool. But other then that Not much else happened. En serio, it was super boring. I hope you have an awesome week.

Not-So-Weekly Report of A Secret Agent.

Ok, so everyone here thinks that we(the missionaries) are a part of the CIA, which we're not but they think that. its funny because sometimes people pass us and say things like: Hola Cia, and stuff like that. But its true that we are very organized. We received a call from a very reliable source (our zone leaders) that a new target (less active) was in the area. We went to the designated area where we were told the mark lives. Stopping in front of a plastic covered gate we gave the native call sign (we yelled at the door) and the lady came out. We entered and talked. What happened is the other missionaries were doing contacts when the found her. She told them about what was going on, that she wanted to return and all that jazz. So when they dropped her off at her house their people called our people and we headed over there. It was cool, even they less actives were surprised. But yeah other then that nothing big has happened. Love you all and hope you have a great week.

Not-So-Weekly Report of

It was a good week, with all the water everywhere we got our exercise in by jumping and keeping our arms as close to our faces as possible.I forgot my planner in the cyber last week so I don't remember what happened this week. But what I do remember is that everyone and there dog was making sopipas, which is like frybread but they put just ketchup and mustard on top of it. I like it, but they don't know the deliciousness that is jelly and jam to place on these deepfried cakes. But hey, I know how it is and it is delicious. I also learned the power of egg. I learned just how many ways you can cook an egg, and have found that they are all quite delicious. But yeah, not much else. Love you all and hope your week is awesome.

Not-So-Weekly report of The True E' Waton

Well this week was a good one I have to admit it. On Saturday we had a baptism. And it was so cool, I baptized la Hna Amada. But before all that could happen we had to make sure  the water wasn't going to be super cold because its winter here and we are freezing as it is. So we filled it with hot waster, but as you know hot water tends to cool down when it sits for too long, and we tried to empty just a little bit to get a water flow, it wouldn't drain. so i was sent to go in, in nothin but my long underwear and push down a floaty thing. It was nice, the water was super warm. but I realized that I am ridiculously white. So yeah that was fun. Not much happened during the week. we went to the temple and then to an all you can eat gourmet pizza place and to live up to my well placed name I ate 21 pieces of delicious pizza and a really big glass of juice. Love you all,

Not-So-Weekly Report of Me and My Girl Elisabeth

This week was pretty normal. I received a plant from our investigators. it was cool, and now our little study area has a little more color and fresh air. Another thing that happened  was we had interviews with Prez this week. In all that interview showed me something interesting. The last time I had interviews I wasn't being the best missionary in the world, I will admit it. but I have changed. Even my President noticed it. Yes and the way I knew that I had changed is the way that I felt before during and after the interview. Before I was a bit nervous, but that was only because of the memory of last interview. But when i walked in I felt calm and happy, I was able to talk tranquilo. Then afterward I felt not scorned nor reprimanded but ready to keep going. Then I made the conclusion that that is how its going to be during Final Judgement there is not going to be any big court room, any babbling or fussing. Just us God and Jesus Christ in an office, talking. And depending on how we feel depends on where we go. In the end we choose what place to go, because what we did in this life depends on how much light we can stand and how close we want to be to God, the source of all light. At least that how I think its going to be, it might not be exactly that, but who knows.
I went on divs this week which were super cool, and I got to know the other missionaries more. This week we have a 3 way baptism planned which is going to be super cool. I am super excited. Y eso, I am still in the smallest place ever and loving every minute of it. Love you all and hope your week is stupendous.

Not-So-Weekly Report of a Wanna Be Pirate (part 2)

This week was a good week, we are still working hard, even though the rain has been fun to deal with. But we did do some awesome contacts in the rain, it helps that both me and E' Torres love the rain. I couldn't get enough of it and he was right the beside me, us two umbrellas in hand and smiling our faces off.

Our Leader Missional is awesome! He is always asking to go out with us and is super animado. He is what I think of when I think of a mision leader, his wife is also very willing to go out with us. The ward is struggling but slowly we are getting people back in and helping them to see what they have missed.

Nadia y Hna Amada are doing awesom
e. We had to move their fecha back to trhe first of Aug so that they could get baptized with the daughter of la Nadia, Milqua, but we are still on track and Milqua is learning fast. There is a definite difference in everything, in the house, in them, its all so much lighter. Its really cool to see that change. Something funny that happened it when we were going to visit someone a cat jumped up on my E' Torres's shoulder and then onto mine, and there it stayed until I took it off. So yeah, got my Bad leg, a lake ship and now a cat that thinks she's a parrot. All I need now is for something to happen to my eye. I'm not asking for it, but Just sayen'. In other news, we got contacted by some Catholic Missionary, but once they learned who we were they weren't interested. Such is life. Hope you all have a wonderful week.

Not-So-Weekly Report of The conqueror of Cerro San Cristòbal

It was a good week. We were able to watch the final for the Copa America, and Chile won. So of course the world wen't crazy. I would have been scared for my life but I am much taller then all of them. and they protect us so we're good. But still it was crazy. and there are so many Memes on the internet, its not even funny. Everyone shows us them. In other news, it rained, and like a good little Arizona kid I was right in the middle of it. Jumping in puddles and just loving the sound of rain on my umbrella. But as the rain came it made everything very slippery, so on a night while walking down stairs I slipped. Nothing bad happened, my elbow was a bit sore but nothing bad. But still I fell down the stairs. Oh and also HAPPY AMERICA DAY!!!!!  Just sayin we're awsome. But yeah that's the week, love you all.

Not-so-weekly Report of The Lost Elder

Well this week we are having a little more success, and everyone that we pass by is progressing. So you can say it was a pretty good week. Anyways, we had an awesome leccion with the family Moreno Catalan, they are a family that we are teaching. We went in not really knowing what to teach, we had a plan but it was kinda shaky and we weren't real sure about it. So we walk in, sit down, and then start to talk, just nice light conversation. Then suddenly Maria Jose walks in, she is a family member, but I'm not sure how she's connected. Anyways she comes in and sits down and kinda joins the leccion. She is a recent member and is really cool. She actually just got baptized this last Saturday(she not our ella es de los otro Elderes) So we share a scripture and Maria Jose starts giving pollo to la Nadia, just hitting her right to the core, to the places that as guys and as missionarys we can't go. It was cool, and now Nadia is going to get baptized no matter what. She still needs to work on some things but is going to do it, to change her life. It was powerful. But other then that our week was pretty normal. That is as normal as it can get with me around. One morning we went to do contacts in the metro and when we were heading home we got separated, it was weird. I haven't been without someone by my side for 10 months, and here I was stuck in a crowded train without anyone. So I waited till the next stop and got off. When the next train came I thought my comp would be on it, Nope, so I took the next train back, he wasn't there either. SO I took the train to where we were supposed to meet up. Got off and waited, and waited and waited, and he never came. But 2 elders did get off so i was enveloped in a trio. They took me home, where we found my comp. It was an adventure. But that's it. Love you all and hope you have a wonderful week.

Not-so-weekly Report of The problem Child.

So, I have to fill you in on all that happened last week because it is...interesting. So last week wasn't a very good week. We couldn't get very many leccios in, but, unlike before we were able o keep our heads up and still keep going. Also last week alot of funny things happened, and also some weird things. Anyways, so on Saturday we had an activity with the youth in the stake, where everyone got together and we went with a group of Youth to go out and teach the gospel. Anyways, this is the sad part. Two Girls contacted a lady and then the lady walked across the road and got hit by a car. She just broke a couple ribs, so she'll be fine, but still, brigido.(dangerous) But hey, we have her address and name and she can't really go anywhere so the perfect investigator. Just sayin'. Then Tuesday was one of the roughest days of my mission, I was falling down, bumping into things and just having a rough time. This week was much better, that is except I keep hitting my head on things. And it seems that every where we go people are asking for english leccions. So I guess this week we are going to busy not only teaching english but learning to teach english. We also did some really hopeful contacts that are going to turn out quiet nicely. All in all a nice week. I can't believe that its week 3 already, it feels like I haven't been here for very long, but also like I've been here my whole mission. Its a weird sensation. Hopefully this week will be as good as this last one. I have been learning alot from E' Torres, we work really well together, even though sometimes I can be kinda pesado (irritating).  But yeah lifes good. We finally get to see a soccer game!!! we have permission to watch it today. (we get to watch the Copa America, which is a really big deal down here. Its like to world cup but smaller and racist bucause they didn't invite america. we get to watch a Chile game today in a members house.)  I am super excited. Love you all and hope your week is fantastic.

time for one more!!!

Hello for the last time from Argentina!!! its still a little crazy to say that but we cant hide from the truth. this last week was actually really good! we were able to do exchanges with some elders one of which was my old companion, elder holmes. we were able to do some service and eat a really good hasado!! my companion and i had our first fathers day together haha since i am his "father" in the mission and yesterday was fathers day here in Argentina so it was pretty cool. we have another new baptismal date that i wont be able to see through but that's not whats important. its still a little weird to know that i will be leaving here soon, but like i put in the title thing at the top, there is still a little more time to do a little bit more. i will probably post the pictures next week when im home because i don't have much time left:P but just know that i love all of you and im coming home with the best gift i could've found, my conversion to this gospel. have a great week!!!

Not-so-weekly report of a tall man in a short world

This week has been really great, the numbers are a little low but we are doing our best. WE are working with this family that is so close to getting baptized, we just felt a couple of leccions. The problem is its hard to find an Hermano to go with us to get into their house. But somehow we always manage. This sector is super small but I still get lost, but luckily when we don't know where we are the contacts are usually golden. E' torres and I get along great, and we work like crazy. Something that does suck though is that I am alot taller then alot of people in this place. Today I was walking down the stairs and what do you know I go and smack my head on the ceiling. I wasn't doing anything weird this time, I swear. Just walking down the stairs when bam, head meets ceiling. In other news, I had a cold almost all week and was sneezing my brains out like crazy. It sucked. But other then that my week was good. Love you all.

Simple Things

so i came to the conclusion this week that the closer that one gets to finishing a mission the mind tends to play tricks. the things that were always really easy to do become a little harder. its like its a test of enduring to the end ha it made me think of alma chapter 37 where it talks of the small and simple things that cause great things to happen. so this week that thought and scripture have helped me many times when i felt like letting one thing go by. we were blessed with many lessons this week both with members and with investigators. as for the investigators we do have some baptismal dates, but whether i get to see their baptisms or not its been amazing being able to be an instrument in the lords hands. i believe that is my goal for the next little while, to always be worthy to do what the lords wants to do with me, just like an instrument. i dont have much more to say than this so i hope its good enough til next week:) i pray for all of you, be safe and ill see you soon!!

= )

This week was great. AS you know we had cambios. That is always hard, but I finished off strong and left the sector in a good place. In this new sector we are working like crazy. We even found some new families to visit, and it has only been the second day. We found this Joven whose father had listened to the Missioneros before, do we went in and taught him, he seems really interested and we were able to teach the whole first leccion. It was really cool. E' Torre is a really food worker and we get along really well. I ran out of time, but I tell you all about it next week.

Jesse - June 1, 2015

so  i didnt really get the chance to write last week so i guess i better let yall know that im still alive. its been a good week, a little long but we got through it. it had both its ups and downs. the baptismal date that we had for the 6th has been moved back a few weeks but we are still hopeful!! they are still progressing and even said that they are really excited to get the chance to get baptized but theres only one problem, she isnt married... yeah its actually  a pretty normal problem and i dont think its just here in argentina. but one of the cool things is that the ward is about to have a baptism here in a few weeks and its a little boy that started coming back to  church with his parents. and  ijust found out that he wants me to  baptize him. not really sure if i will be able to do it just because it would be better if his father did both of his sons  baptisms. i will let you all know what happens  on that one.  my companion and i continue to work  and somedays its great ad some days its not so great, but we tend to look at the better side of things and today was also his birthday so i told him "son now that your twenty  i think its okay that i leave you on your own" and all he tells me is that there is a plane with my  name on it ready to go to the states. i guess its true because everyone has a good time telling me the same thing jaja but hey ive still got time. finishing the mission is not as bad as i thought it was going to be, yeah its the end to a pretty  cool journey but i feel like ive done a great job. ill see yall soon enough!!

Not-so-weekly Report of A down sout Homie

Not much happened this week. Just the same walking, contacting, teaching. Alot more contacting them teaching but what can you do? WE have this one investigator that is super cool but is super hard to find. We have to set like 5 citas before we can get in and teach her. That's the problem with teenagers now a-days. Especially those around 14-15, those are the worst. I just kidding. But still its kinda suckish. This P-day was awesome thogh. We went to the mansion of a guy who is super rich. Super super rich. So we went to his house and played soccer. It was fun. I'll try to send pics. Love you all and hope your week is awesome.

Not-so-weekly report of a heartful worker.

This week was good. We found this lady that seems really interested in listening to us, but the problem is that every time we go over there she just got beat up or something. The last time we passed her face around the eyes was all purple. She said that her car got stolen and that she was waiting for the doctor. But she also set a cita for next week when she is feeling better, hopefully we can find her in good health. We also finally got back in contact with an investigator that we had kinda lost for a bit. Her name is Karen and she wants to believe in God, but she doesn't know how and wants us to help. So this week we taught her the second lección. She is super cool and super smart, she is also friends with a menos activa that we are teaching. The MA is a little more complicated. She has been talking to her teacher about religion and that has got her kinda confused, but we cleared up most of her doubts the last time we met. In other news We had a baptism this week, Don't know why i didn't mention that earlier. Fernanda got baptized! But it took alot to get her to that point. Not that she is a bad person or anything, on the contrary, just there was alot we had to do. When we got to the font 10 minutes before the Baptism the font wasn't filled the program was wrong and none of the bishopric had shown up. So yeah it was fun. E' Fernelius had to fill the font up with an emergency hose while I ran around trying to get people to do everything. Like I said fun, but it all turned out OK. Also that morning we had service so that was fun. I got to use a really big stick to break up the dirt. And you can probably imagine what that was like. Anyways, love you all and hope your week is stupendous.
