Not-so- Weekly Report of the newest owner of the rare Purple bellied rhino.

I named him Hippo according to one of my favorite children's books. He's also a flashdrive so thats awesome. WE found this old lady that's just the classic Grandma (Shout out to my grandma at home. Love you alot!) As soon as we walked in the door she gave us candy, showed us her garden, her crafts that she made and all of the photos in her photo album. It was fun, She even has a Bible Club, so pretty much FHE. Well thetas pretty much my week. My computer being an idiot so I could write that much but love you all and how you have a wonderful week. Jesse - January 12, 2015

so i just wanted to say that its really hard to believe that we are already half way through January, it just doesn't seem that its supposed to be going by this fast! this was in fact my last week with elder Holmes... its sad because we really got along together and we didn't think that they were going to split us up after only one transfer. but i now have a new area and a new companion! i am in a branch now and its called colon, my new companion is also from a new country.... Brazil! so one of my goals that i put for the rest of my mission is to learn portuges. jaja i dont even know how to spell that. but i might as well take advantage of the opportunity! ohh and his name is elder venancio!! i already got to know him a little in some other zones but now we get to be comps so lets see how that goes.
leaving this last area though was actually a little easier than normal. i still love the people and everything but i just felt more comfortable leaving, like i knew and trusted that president thurgood knew what he was doing. this Sunday we were asked to teach two classes, priesthood, where we spoke about the first commandment. and gospel principles. it surprisingly went really well for the very short notice that we had gotten. i think i really strengthened my testimony there that we are really here, participating in the plan of salvation so that we can progress and draw closer to our heavenly father. in fact i think thats why i took it a lot easier this week, because i knew the lord wanted me to continue progressing so he took me out of piƱeyro and put me here. i think that the more we love our savior, the less we will HAVE to be obedient and  the more we will WANT to be obedient. for me its a really long process but im better than what i used to be...im progressing. maybe a little slower than most, but imma get there! i love you all and i invite you all to look at how you`re showing your love for HIM. Happy january:P
