Anthony - September 16, 2014

this week has been fantastic. There is not much to tell. Nothing spectacular, it was just a good week. I got some new roomys, well Ive had them for a week now. They are fun.
Well I lied, I went out on splits this week. It was really cool. I help teach a lesson to someone who was very "flite" and it was cool. (flite is the Chilean slang word for ghetto) On the way back to the CCM I talked to someone on the metro, we had a decent conversation. E´ tibbits and I even gave her a BOM. SO to sum it up. This week I have been  on a bus, on a Metro, and talked to a Chilean in Spanish. So, pretty much a normal day in Chille. Look at me I´m "swave". what else, oh, E´tibbitts and I taught a guy in the park the other day. He did most of the talking but it still was really cool. Let see, oh last week I bought a muffin, in a store. you have no Idea how happy that makes me. I also taught a lesson to a couple of latinos all by my self, one of them spoke a little english but still, the whole thing was in espaƱol.
Ok, so splits was interesting, we were in the west mission, and it was kind of flite. we walked everywhere. we passed by this little beer shack and this guy was shaking our hands and it was no big deal and then after we walked a few paces the guy yelled at me to come back and so i did. and I gave him my BOM, not the good one, one of the one that we can pass out. but it was really cool. then we went to these apartment type things and knocked on doors. we knocked on this one door and this little old lady opened the door and started yelling at us, so we moved on the the next door which was right across the way and the little old lady comes out of her house with a  knife, a cooking knife, but still a knife. I was sligtly frightened for my life. But hey I am alive. other then that this week was not much, love you all and hope to hear from you

this week went by way to fast. so many things happened that were amazing and really fun that its hard to keep up with and remember all that happened. but i would have to say that the best thing we were ably to do was teach to the needs of the people. as missionaries we get really used to teaching the same lessons over and over again, but the trick is to do it in different ways so that the people we are teaching can apply it to their lives. and that is what we did this week, we focused more on the needs and not just teaching the lessons. there were several lessons where we were able to really feel the holy ghost and i don't doubt that he was the one guiding us. there were tears and great feelings and just a great chance to get to know not only the people better but to know my heavenly father a little more, and learn to rely on him as we teach. so that was something that we were able to do, another is that we got to help do a really big service project on Saturday. i think that here its a national service day or something like that. but we got to paint a school with members of the stake, and with all the missionaries in it. i have a ton a fotos to send!! and well i think that sums up what weve done, noting too crazy going on yet but hey something is bound to come my way, just wait for it;)

Hello Everyone!!!!

Well this week was a good one nothing too crazy happened. Saturday was really fun.It was the National day of service because it was the closest Saturday to 9/11 but we were asked to help set up the night market for china town. We had dim sum for lunch Which was AMAZING then for 1-3 we just sent up chairs and tables it was so fun. We were there with our ward so we got to help them and we got to know them better. We got a free t-shirt pretty sweet!! Sunday was really good in sacrament meeting we the speakers talked on kindness. For some reason it just really touched me, maybe it touched me because I need to be nicer. We had a really great lesson with our investigator we watched the Joseph Smith movie. Can I just say it is the best movie I have ever seen!! I love it so much, because that is how I gained my testimony that he was a prophet called by God. I am just so grateful to him because of him I have everything I need for eternal happiness. He did not have an easy life he could have given up at any point but he didn't he proved to God and to me that he saw God and Jesus Christ. He sealed with his blood his testimony.
I am so tired we were asked to go teach seminary this morning so we had to wake up at 5 30 to be ready by 630 its just an hour but man as a missionary that hour is everything!! thank goodness its  pday so i can take a long nap! oh I am also going to color my hair tonight. I should wait but yolo I need so good change in my life lol well I love you all so much and I pray for you everyday!!! keep being amazing!!!!
