it sounds like everyone is doing great and the normal end of year activities are keeping everyone busy and on their feet! still shocks me that anthony is graduating and that jazz is going to be in high school next year! its really amazing how much things can change in such a short amount of time. a sister missionary broke her ankle at red knolls! haha thats terrible but even worse if she gets sent home for it! i cant imagine having to go home soon from the mission now! but i did get bit by a dog! yup i didnt even know what happened till i had to clean the blood off of my leg. and now i have to get a bunch of shots so that i dont get rabies:) doesn't that make a momma happy! but dont worry i will be fine, the medical services in Argentina aren't that good but the lord is! i have some pictures of it if you want to see!! theres a little bit of blood but not too bad.our baptism for this weekend did fall through though, so that much sucked. Teresita ended up not being able to go to church because she got sick so we have to make another baptismal date for her but we still don't have any dounts for her. especially because when we taught her the law of chastity she kicked her boyfriend out and told him to sleep in his own bed. Awesome!! but the work continues to move forward and we are loving the work here in san vicente! despite the rain and the muddy streets we have to bike in its great! i just hope that everyone else is as happy as i am! i love you and cant wait to hear from you next week!

Jesse - E-mail April 28, 2014

you know what is really wierd, i had a dream about the oven the other night! i dont know if i just miss the food that always came out of it or what but i love that oven! so hopefully dad can work his magic and save her!!
but it sounds like the end of the school year alright, prom, rehersals, kids needing to be taken places, appliences deciding to fail, and missionaries preparing to leave! im content with the work here, it keeps me plenty busy.
ty is leaving and anthony is getting ready to leave, we are going to have a lot of family misisonaries! soon enough i wont be the only Elder Whetten here in south america!!
but as far as south america goes, this week was great! we have a investigator that is Terisita and she is golden. we had a really good lesson with her on thursaday, we invited her to a ward family home evening that we would be teaching the next day and we actually ended up giving her a blessing. she has arthritis really bad and was going in to get some injecitons for the pain, well after the blessing  she looked up and told us that she felt she should go to the FHE. she keeps progressing and we are trying to prepare her for the 24th of may! the lesson we taught for the FHE was about the holy ghost and it turned out really good! there were about 30 people who showed up so it was really full for our little branch. when we got here to san vicente the attendence of the chapel was about 30 so that was a blessing. the last sunday there were about 42 and just yesterday there were 49! we continue to count the blessing and keep movving forward and working. its hard to believe 1/3 of the year is gone! it just makes me want to work that much harder knowing that soon here i will be counting down and not up:/ but i hope everyone  enjoys the end of school year parties and stress:P i love you all and cant wait to talk to you in i think 2 weeks! my companion keeps counting the days til mothers day:P

Hello From Washington!!!!
Well this week has been pretty great!! Sister Batton and I decided to be more obedient and we truly saw the blessings come from that. We had amazing lessons with people who having felt the spirit in a while and it was great. The Lord truly does want to bless us when he gives us commandments. I have realized how fast time is going by my mission has hit its have way point in two transfers from now Anthony will be in the MTC in 8 Transfers my mission will end. This is not fair! time needs to slow down. and for all of who do not know what transfers are they are how missionaries count down there life. It is a week period of time where you work as hard as you can before you are up rooted and moved to a new places they are great. counting down 6 weeks at a time is not a good idea it just makes everything happen so much faster. Well the weather is starting to warm up the sun is coming out a little more!! we live right down the road from the ocean and let me tell you what it is beautiful! God is so great he blesses us with so much an to just add a cherry to what we already have he goes and gives us amazing things to enjoy just for the heck of it! I love God!! I love this Gospel! i love Jesus Christ, I love being a missionary and i love the future, i love the past and more then anything I love the present. each new day is a gift and i have wasted so many gifts so to day i am going to us it up!!!! Well i love you all and i am so proud to be a member of the best family in the world. That is if we are related or not!! we are all Gods children! Have a great day and remeber be grateful for what you have because you never now when the lord will decides to give you less.

i hope you liked the fotos! im going to try sending some every week! just so you can have more than words to describe how things are over here in Argentina:)
this past week just flew! i dont think i remember half the things that happened it went by so fast. but one of the best things we did was go to the temple with our little branch. the only reason we got to go was because one of our investigators was going with us!!! he already has a baptismal date for the 17th of may! and he already has assisted the church so we are keeping our fingers crossed for him! he is 21 years old and has a good desire to learn more. as we were with him we also got to be with some of the young people of the ward. we then found out that we were lucky to go to the temple because the mission is trying to stop that now:P so we dont waste time which is very understandable, considering it seems like we never have enough. we also got to go to the lagoon that is only 6 blocks from our apartment! its really beautiful and we had a little picnic there with the sisters and elders of our district. we were also blessed again to find 4 more investigators on sunday!! our prayers are really being answered right now and it feels great! my companion is great and we are really starting to teach well together. lets hope the next transfer doesnt come too fast because im liking the way things are going! i hope everyone is having a great time finishing up with school and the play as always should be great! i think its 3 more weeks and i get to talk to you all! I love you guys!
